Olena’s story

Olena (name changed), a 28-year-old mother of two, was injured in a missile strike in Kharkiv. She arrived at a frontline stabilization point with life-threatening bleeding. Medics managed to stabilize her enough for transport. At Kharkiv Regional Hospital, surgeons used the BOWA. Lotus 4 to control her internal bleeding. Today, Olena is alive and reunited with her children.
